Residential Building Superintendent

Cogir Real Estate is currently seeking a Residential Building Superintendent (Single or Couple) to join our team at a multi-residential apartment complex in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

This is a live-in position, and on-the-job training will be provided to support your success in the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative office duties;
  • Show vacant apartments to prospective residents;
  • Leasing experience
  • Ensure cleanliness of public areas & corridors;
  • Prepare apartments for new residents;
  • Completing Move In and Move Out Inspections;
  • Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance;
  • Other grounds maintenance;
  • Addressing resident concerns effectively and promptly;
  • Always maintaining positive safety and security;
  • Respond appropriately and professionally to emergencies;
  • Maintain fire safety and winter logs;
  • Follow an "on call" schedule;
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Essential Skills:

  • Customer Service
  • Experienced Individual in Administration;
  • Experienced Individual with Maintenance/Handyman Skills
  • Computer Knowledge (Email, Word, Excel);
  • Experience with Yardi and Property Vista an asset;
  • Oral communication;
  • Working with others;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
