Join Our Team as a Maintenance Supervisor at Missionwood Retirement Resort!
Location:
Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. This position is on site at the Kelowna location.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor, under the General Manager’s direction, is responsible for the upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment, ensuring high standards of appearance, safety, and functionality. This includes performing repairs, managing a Preventative Maintenance Program, groundskeeping, conducting fire inspections, and assisting with event setups. Additional duties involve inventory management, budget oversight, and fostering a positive team environment. The role also requires promoting resident dignity, supporting new staff onboarding, and completing other tasks as necessary.

- Work Hours are primarily Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required based on need (Evenings and Weekends in addition to daytime)
- Number of Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Education and Experience:
- Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- WHMIS
- Pool certification level one or willingness to complete training would be an asset.
Skills for Success:
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Mentally and physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Able to plan and organize maintenance service.
- Computer literate.
Salary: Between $50,000-$60,000.
