As our next Regional Manager, Culinary Services, you'll play a key role in enhancing our retirement residences' dining experience and driving innovative food and beverage programs. Collaborating with the National Director of Culinary and regional operations team, you'll provide operational support and leadership to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Your responsibilities will include assisting Executive Directors in tasks like interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new Culinary Managers. Moreover, you'll offer comprehensive training and guidance to the Culinary Managers across your designated region. This encompasses diverse areas such as menu planning, food procurement, preparation, beverage service, and dining operations. The overarching goal is to uplift the dining experience while ensuring strict adherence to operational policies.
This position will also involve assessing work procedures and operational challenges, aiming to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, service quality, performance, and safety. Addressing inefficiencies and finding effective solutions will be key components of the role.
Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in shaping and implementing our menus. Your culinary creativity will shine as you maximize the potential of fresh ingredients and your scratch cooking skills to craft exceptional dining offerings.

Your experience:
Red Seal designation;
A culinary leader in your field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in food & beverage and culinary in the senior’s living, hotel/commercial or hospitality industry;
Knowledge of kitchen and dining service operations in a variety of food and beverage settings, including -A'la carte fine dining, bistro, pubs, in-room dining and catering functions;
Good understanding and management of the dining room service;
Understanding of working in a unionized environment;
Proficient in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively within area of responsibility.
