Join Our Team as Sales Consultant at Valleywood Retirement Resort!
 

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for creating exceptional living experiences? Valleywood, Kelowna's premier new-built retirement resort, is seeking a dedicated Sales Consultant to join our team and ensure our residents enjoy the best in comfort, care, and community.

Located in the heart of Kelowna, Valleywood combines luxurious amenities with stunning natural surroundings. As Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in driving occupancy and revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a warm, engaging, and supportive environment for our residents while building strong relationships with prospective clients and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents and their families.

  • Conduct tours and presentations to showcase the unique features and benefits of Valleywood.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.

  • Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with the management team to ensure seamless integration of sales and operational activities.

Your experience:

  • At least two (2) years of experience and proven success in direct sales

  • Customer and relationship building focused sales experience

  • Experience in the development and execution of strategic sales action plans

  • Experience and ability in common business applications, including a CRM system

  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the local community

  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends as required)

  • Event management experience is an asset

  • Experience with media management
