This is a Hybrid position with the expectation to be in the office up to 3 times a week.

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Manager, the Compliance Analyst will be responsible for performing daily review, verification, and follow-up tasks to ensure that their portfolio of residences complies with internal policies and procedures. They will work closely with various teams to identify, assess, and mitigate non-compliance risks. In collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer, the analyst will participate in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify, define, and evaluate existing internal controls to meet certification objectives for their portfolio of residences.
  • Support and collaborate with stakeholders in various operational activities to ensure the SOX program is executed according to the company's plan.
  • Assess the severity of deficiencies, identify root causes, and formulate clear and practical recommendations to ensure prompt remediation.
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with control managers and external auditors.
  • Provide compliance advice and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in internal training on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

  • High sense of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
  • Travels: 10% annually.
  • Bilingual (French is an aset)

Required Qualifications:

  • Blingual (English and French) is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is an asset).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or accounting.
  • Experience with SOX controls (an asset).
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
